This is my entry for the first round of the Character Battle Royale hosted over at outcaststudios.com

This piece is roughly 11X17 and was done with a variety of traditional means.
Pencil, ballpoint pen, prismacolor marks and pencils.

A Character Battle Royale is were all entrants choose a character to represent, every round two people are pitted against each other to depict their respected character in battle. There is a two week notice before the deadline, voting on the winner last a week.

My character is Beast from Disney's Beauty & the beast.

Here's hoping Ill make it to Round two :woohoo:

War - Vigil Games (as far as I can tell is the creator)

This is an extremely rich piece! And traditional. Jesus. :nirvana: Very hard to make some things look as good as digital work with traditional utensils --- well, unless the person knows how to use them, of course! :)

Thank you very much.
I tend to stay more with traditional art, if not only for my lack of software and knowledge of the medium. I have my own style of coloring Ive seen few do. I completely shade the drawing with pencil and then layer colors over that with art markers.

Valid point. No mere beast of any size is a contender with War. But for the sake of the competition I entered this in- Beast is a unstoppable, raging killing machine.
